I have only recently purchased the roof leafrake so can not speak on longevity. However, I am at the age of needing to stay off the roof. This rake works and fulfills my need - to get the leaves and pine needles off of my roof while keeping me on the ground. The handle extension is works good and is very easy to operate. I guess the best thing I can say is that I am glad I bought the Roof Leafrake.

With this product I can remove roof leaves without the risk of climbing a ladder. The pole construction is good--heavy gauge aluminum; and the 18 foot reach covers the areas I need to reach. The rubber rake is soft and effective at moving the leaves without apparent damage to the shingles. Only issue is the connection of the rake to the pole. The carriage bolt/wing nut that allows angle adjustment of the rake head does loosen up during use and needs re-tightening. This is a minor inconvenience that I will try to fix with a lock washer or ?? Would recommend to a

friend. The pole will also accept window washing equipment.

This light weight plastic rake with 24' aluminum extension pole works remarkably well for scraping down patches of fall leaves from my metal roof and dislodging dead branches hanging trees.. However, the rake wing nut must be tightened frequently during repeated use. I wish I had this product 25 years ago.

Arrived in about 4 business days. Pole is beautifully made, so easy to extend each section, and much lighter that I would have thought. Mounted rake on the end and went to work getting pine straw and water oak leaves out of the valleys on my roof. Too easy, wish I had ordered a year ago.



I read many reviews here and on Amazon to get the right pole, this is the one.
