It became obvious this year at age 71 that my days would be severely numbered if I continued to play roof-monkey, and I chafed at the notion of paying someone to remove pine needles from atop my house. Enter the Roof Leafrake!

I received it two days after ordering, and I immediately assembled the head to the extension pole and went to work.

The soft brush/rake is probably gentler on my asphalt shingles than my boots ever were, yet it easily grabbed the needles for quick removal.

I opted for the 24’ pole, and at full length some flex and bowing occurred, but the rake remained very manageable due to its light weight and lost none of its effectiveness.

So far I’m VERY happy with this product, and after I use it a second time it will have paid for itself.

We purchased a Roofrake a few weeks ago. I got most of the leaves from the roof. It is somewhat unwieldy when it is fully extended but can be controlled with some effort. Overall, I am happy with it and hope it lasts for a long time.

I have a single story brick ranch on south Carolina , after a couple storms I get lots of pine straw, branches, leaves on the roof, I hate climbing up on top of the roof, last time I got hit by a wasp nest, this rake is awesome, I was able to clean sweep my roof in 3 hours, not messing with any shingles, great product!!

The plastic leafrake is so weak where it is attached to the pole that I fear that it may break off the next time I use it. It bends very easily and looks as if it is ready to break..

The product got the job done. However, I'm very concerned that it's going to make it through another season of removing pine needles from my roof. The adjustable head that attaches to the extension pole is completely constructed of plastic and the wingnut / bolt tends to spin rather than stay in place to tighten it. It bent a little during use and appears to be showing signs of stress where the plastic turns a lighter color. If it was made of, or reinforced with metal, I would feel better. If it breaks, I'll probably just hire someone to climb on my roof to remove the needles rather than buy another. Unless the design improves. Overall, good product, needs a stronger adjustment mechanism.
