Waist of money for what I needed. Pole would not stay at the length I set it for and was unable to do any work with the roof rake I had intended to use it with. Would not recommend it for anything that requires any kind of resistance either pushing or pulling. Thinking of extending the pole to the length I need it to be and then drilling holes and securing it in place with lag bolts.

Works great, the handle stops work some time and get stuck when opening them.

I do not think that the thumbscrew that holds the head on the handle functions very well. I found that the head would start rotating after about two downward motion chops. It was frustrating to have to re-tighten the head after every two to three attempts to rake with it. Granted, I did have about 3 feet of snow that was layered and the bottom 24 inches was fairly packed. I am thinking about drilling thru the head shaft and handle and putting a pin thru it so the handle does not spin around.

The very day after I received the rake, it snowed between 8 and 10 inches so I was able to try it out. It worked great! The only problem I had was the same as I had read in some of the previous ratings, and that was the thumb nut to tighten the rake head to the pole had to be tightened several times during use. I wound that if you use pliers it will stay tight longer. If you extend the rake out the full 21 feet, it bows like any other one would at that length, but I didn't have to extend it out that far. The telescoping handle is a very nice feature! I would definitely recommend this product!
