Rake works well.. you should however use after every storm. As rake is light and you have to do more shimming depending on snow amount. Overall a great product

I have the extra soft snow pro with the 22foot pole. I mainly use this for my solar panels, but do use it on my shingled roof at times. The unit is sturdy and easy to use. I just took off 12 inches of snow from my solar panels without any issues. Definitely takes some time as you need to be systematic about pulling the snow down(bottom first). I have also used it for a problem area on my roof so I don't get any ice dams. Didn't seem to jack up the attachment too bad.



Very impressed so far with the quality of the product. I figure I will need to purchase a new snow pro attachment ever few years as it looks pretty flimsy and light. Not to say this is bad as it really needs to be light when you are raking off snow from expensive solar panels.

When I unpacked the fiberglass pole from the shipping box, I got fiberglass slivers in my hand. I contacted customer support and they said they would get back to me.

Looking for a good tool to brush snow off my solar panels. Bought the 12” pole. Upon receiving, the extensions are difficult to undo. The material is cheap and wobbly, also now the extensions are stuck and cannot go back to the original place. Also the brush is made of flimsy material and get stuck on the panels which tears away at it. Waste of money. Also extremely upset that the only delivery option was $40 delivery fee via FedEx.

Living off grid, I was using a conventional roof rake to remove snow off stationary panels on the roof; and was worried the hard plastic would scratch the surface of the panels. I retrofitted a broom on a piece of 2" PVC pipe to help in the process of snow removal, using plastic rake to take off top layer, then using broom to finish. I just used a broom on the pole mounted panels. In searching for a roof rake adaptable to solar panels, I found this particular one recommended by a few online solar companies. With the recent New England snow, I made good use of it. I like the telescoping pole. and made quick work on both the stationary and pole mounted panels. It took the snow off easily leaving no telltale thin layer of snow my broom left. The edges cleaned all the snow leaving clear glass. I will recommend this to my other friends who also live off grid. Hard to fill batteries with a foot of snow on panels.
