It finally snowed here and I went out and used the rake on about 6 inches of powdered snow. Worked really well . A bit of effort but got a system going that made it easier. Got my solar panels up and running on a nice sunny day.

Soft (but tough) foam head easily slides snow off solar panels without damaging them. With the optional long extension pole, you're in for an upper body workout (the poles are light aluminum, but 40 combined feet of leverage means there's a lot of force to hold). It does exactly what I hoped. The panels are left shiny and clean. I can't reach all of them on my house, but that's just due to my house design. I can clear the biggest array, which is what I hoped.

It works, pretty small but awfully expensive
