The Extra Soft Snow Pro is a good product but hard to use when extended to the length (30 feet) I need to reach my panels. The 30 foot pole is very flexible at 30 feet and is very difficult to move, control and remove snow from the panels. At shorter lengths it probably would work much better.

We purchased this Extra Soft Snow Pro roof rake to help remove snow from our solar panels. It took a few tries to get the process working. We bought an angle adapter to help with one part of the roof that couldn't be done with the original head and pole (24') we bought. We were able to clear all of the solar panels on both sides of our roof. We are getting better at it each time we use the roof rake.

I purchased the rake with the 22 foot pole after an early snowstorm reminded me that I would need this for the upcoming winter. I haven't had a chance to actually rake snow, but I did fully extend the pole to see if it was manageable. It will reach all but the highest of my panels. My plan will be to allow the snow from the top panels to slide down within reach once I've raked the lower panels. While the pole does spring a bit when fully extended, it looks like I'll be able to handle it without much trouble. And I'm not particularly strong or big.
