Snow Pro does a great job on snow but we often get icing underneath which tends to tear up the soft, cushy foam. Overall, we are very happy with our purchase.

We have used it a few times..it works like a charm

Works as advertised - it's a soft scraper on an expandable stick. The stick expands to the advertised length, the head is soft and doesn't seem to scratch solar panels.

I purchased this model because I have 30 solar panels to clear off.The rake is definitely soft and tears up easily on metal edges or mounting tabs that are sticking out, the pole is nice but the head won't stay screwed in because it's plastic .It got the job done but I don't think it will last beyond a season,it got pretty tore up after one snow fall.It didn't do any damage to the panels so that's a plus.I would recommend a stronger rake.

I understand the need for a lightweight, soft material so that it won't scratch the solar panels. But this is so lightweight that it does not easily remove snow. It's also fairly narrow, requiring many passes to remove the snow from a lot of panels. Because the pole mounts in the exact center of the pad, it can only remove a couple of inches' depth at once, requiring multiple passes in the same spot. If the pole were offset (slightly toward the top), the balance would be better, and it would go a little deeper.

Also, the pole is flimsy and bends too easily, which loses a lot of leverage.

In short, after using it once on a light, fluffy snow, I won't bother using it again.
