First the bad news FedEx ground sucks. Sat on their delivery truck for three days. 12 miles from my home and it took three extra days to get it to me. I see why Amazon is pulling FedEx ground from their Prime Delivery



As to the product itself, I love, does a nice job breaking through crusty ice. Fell safe it’s not going to scratch the panels.

Although I've only used this head once on my ground mounted solar panel system, it worked very well. The only difficulty I had was with the adjustable pole. Its locking mechanism (which I tightened by hand) became stuck, requiring some channel locks to free its grip.

After years of climbing on ladders to clear snow off the solar panels, we can work safely from the ground. Whew.

Seems well made and adequate for getting snow off of my solar panels. Not a flake of snow yet, though!

I have been waiting to write this review since we have only had freezing rain and snow and this rake does not work on that. But I already like its long reach and I an sure it will do exactly what I need.
