Just used my Snowpro for the first time here in upper Northwest Montana (The Yaak Valley). It worked, however it caught some screw heads and has little pieces torn. Will adjust my down stroke to miss them. Will also purchase another just in case. Great tool for those of us that use solar and get snow.

Our solar panels have small bolts that stick up between each set and these are sharp enough to gouge the rake. You cannot know where these are when there is snow on the panels You can guess after a first pass is made, but they you are often pulling at an angle that hits a bolt anyway. It won't take many clearings before th soft pad is shreads. Roofrake should include replacements in the original shipment.
