this does the job on my solar panels. takes the snow right off, but when it is fully extended - the final extension is thin and weak. will floppy and hard to manage when fully extended. Need to beef up the extension to give it more rigidity.

I purchased this to clear my newly installed solar panels and it works great. The "rake" portion won't damage the panels. The pole is plenty long for my needs and it's not too heavy at all.
