Roof Rake and

Hey guys, I bought this tool and used it for daily work on the East Coast. When it snows, we refer to the East Coast as the Beast Coast. I work year round outside and last year wasnt easy. I work on roofs for a solar company. Ive used this tool from South of Washington D.C. to North of Boston, MA. I used it in Albany, NY and Long Island, NY as well. It shaves the snow right off to roof without damaging the shingles. It allowed me to access the roof with ease. Even if you dont intend to access the roof like I do, you can still clean off your roof if you are worried about snow load and weight distribution. Overall I give it 5 Stars. Great Idea. Great Tool. I hope to buy more of these for other teams I lead on the East Coast.

Rake came on time, is durably made and should last a while.

It worked very well on fresh snow but could not remove areas that had prior melting and had turned to ice. This was not the fault of the tool; the ice areas couldn't be shoveled either. Not the tools fault.



Reason for the 4 star and not 5:

The bungee holding the slide mat is centered on the mat. This makes the snow come straight down at you and then flips snow up over your head and face. I 'altered' the mat and put bungees on both corners of the mat.; Then, I could make the snow slope and fall left or right of me without having it come at and over me. This kept me dry and I was also able to put the snow where I wanted it !! So, I didn't have to 'duck' the falling cubes of snow. Any 'perk' for this improvement?

Going to lose friends over this, but I wish we got one more big storm here in Pa. Used the Razor once and it worked absolutely great, between that and the sun, my roof was the only one with no snow or ice jams in my neighborhood.

GREAT PRODUCT !!!!

This product works outstandingly. It cleaned my house and garage roof very well. Because of my topography around the buildings, it is a little heavy to lift; but Ive managed to use other tools to get the roof rake up to the edge of the roof. Heavy snows bent the bar on the end of the slide; but that didnt hurt the effectiveness. It takes a little practice, but this rake is far superior to traditional rakes, and to getting up on the roof.

The roof razor is the best roof rake I have used! It takes less time to do a roof and does a better job. I have recommended this roof rake to friends. Its really good to use a product that is built well. WELL DONE!
