It works great on my Solar Panels. Not too hard and not too soft, does not damage the panels.

Works well for snow but you need to stay on top of it. If you get much snow or any freezing, it’ll not work and possibly break.

I have another attachment I got from Home Depot that is 2 ft long that has plastic on one side and rubber on the other that works for the heavier and icy stuff.

This is the second Roof Brum that I have purchased. The first one lasted ten years before the aluminum handle broke. I use it to rake snow off a steel roof and it works great.
