I am happy with this purchase after waiting far too long and suffering too many ice dams. It works as described and is very easy to use. The only issue I encountered was the joints between the sections of poles were/are very tight. I assume this is designed this way intentionally since too loose would be problematic. Overall, I'd purchase again and this time not wait too long to have ice dams.

Excellent product as far as functionality, downside a roller can come off and easily be lost in the snow and nuts can loosen and also be lost! The product should come with nylock nuts and 2 extra rollers standard. I found the lost roller and super-glued the plastic roller together.

The product is very well made, easy to assemble and works well. I purchased the extensions to reach 31' because I have a raised ranch home. But it was near impossible for me to even lift the rake off the ground with all sections attached and moving it around on the roof was VERY difficult. It will be a two person operation to use it.

The unit is great, but a bit too assemble. Seems like a lot to ask of the consumer and charge $70.

I have used it once to clear snow from a north-facing roof that always freezes up at the gutters. It worked very well - just as described on the website. I used one extension pole, which was manageable. Additional extensions could be a bit harder to manage. Even with the lightest possible construction, lifting the rack to grab another row of snow can get tiring. This works fine for me, but I see the added value of the pivoting version that requires left lifting.
