Easy to assemble. Just need to open slot of rollers a bit with screwdriver to get on easier. I havent used in winter yet but used it to drag off leaves and branches off my roof and gutter guards with ease. Itll make your arms tired if you arent in shape but rake it light and sturdy. Plenty long enough, especially with the extensions.
